Never do that... please!

About wealth...

A short story.

Getting money isn't enough.

About wealth.

I want this wealth to last for future generations…

No words have ever aged so badly.

Seriously, this is a bit tragic.

But it's a great lesson.

It's why I always say:

Stay hungry no matter how much money you get.

Because as soon as you get comfortable, you stop hustling.

And even if you earn your way to massive wealth, you'll lose it all if you don't hustle to keep it.                                                                                                                              A short story.

David Lee Edwards is a perfect example.

Let's talk about this guy…

Dave Lee won a $27 mil. jackpot in the Kentucky Powerball back in 2001.

Initially Dave had a great idea

...to use his new fortune to create indestructible financial freedom and generational wealth.

He told CNN:

I want this money to last, for me, for my future wife, for my daughter, and future generations.

5 years later the money was gone…

And he was living in a storage shed…

Covered in human feces…

Broke and hooked on crack cocaine.

How?

Simple.

Dave dreamed of wealth.

But once he finally got it…

he had no idea what to do with it.

He didn't know how to keep and multiply wealth.

But he knew how to spend it, so that's what he did.

And he's not alone.

In fact, given the same fortune, I think most people would end up like Dave.

Because these days, nobody learns the truth about money… let alone wealth.

Most people think that "getting money" is the hardest part of being rich.

But the truth is, keeping it can be even harder…

And multiplying it is even harder than that…

Just think about this: Dave had $27 mil. drop into his lap.

What did he do with it?

He dumped millions of dollars into mansions…

Sports cars…

A private jet…

Luxury antiques…

Dave spent $12 mil. of his $27 mil. within 12 months.

And it only went down from there.

He got into drugs…

Got in trouble with the law…

Contracted hepatitis from shooting up heroin…

Dave wasted everything.

Only 5 years after winning $27 mil. …

Dave was homeless…

…living out of a sh*t smeared storage shed abandoned by his second ex-wife…

Dave Lee died penniless in a hospice bed at 58 years old.

It's tragic.

But this is exactly why I'm always telling you…

Getting money isn't enough…

If you want unbreakable wealth and financial freedom…

…you have to learn how to keep and multiply your money.

You can't just rest on a pile of cash and think you're safe.

You can't be comfortable or complacent because a fortune drops into your lap.

You need to stay hungry.

You need to hustle to keep and invest that money into assets that make you little money-babies.

Because that's how you multiply your wealth.

It's why every morning I "go back to zero."

I look at my financial statements and think "how can I get rid of all this cash?"

Because cash won't save me…

I stay mentally broke so I never become actually broke.

It's the opposite of what Dave did.

What makes it even more tragic is…

Dave could have gotten $87k/mo for the rest of his life if he listened to any run-of-the-mill financial advisor…

…and if he followed my advice he could've gotten much more than that.

Instead, he died dead-broke and alone.

Look man, don't be like Dave.

Don't blow your money on stupid sh*t like fancy watches and cars.

How stupid can you go? You can go as stupid as your cash flow.

Never stop hustling.

Invest in real assets that will turn around and make you more money.

Invest in yourself.

Invest in your business.

This is the path to incredible wealth and prosperity.
